As a class we have come up with and agreed to the following code of ethics and standards that we will adhere to and honor when contributing to this website.
1. We will respect the opinions of our classmates. We may not always agree with each other, but we will work to create an atmosphere in which people are comfortable expressing themselves.
2. We will respect the work of others and not alter it.
3. We will keep our language appropriate for the intended audience and purpose.
4. We will focus our postings on class related material and the study of media. Furthermore, we will use our heads and not post things that are inappropriate or offensive.
5. We will protect our identities online. No last names, no strictly personal postings.
6. We will utilize the discussion forum in a respectful and purposeful manner. This is not Facebook or Myspace.
7. No unnecessary flexing. Don't be a jerk.
